The purpose of this lecture is to help medical doctors/Psychologists/Social workers in America and worldwide, including policy makers, manage cases in a better and more effective manner to meet international standards. Although a strong need has arisen to merge primary and general practice with psychiatry, American board-certified physicians have unfortunately earned a reputation as being "good for nothing."

American physicians have routinely been accused of negligence, failure to diagnose, delays in diagnosis, failure to follow-up on tests (labs, radiology, etc.), failure to monitor, wrong diagnosis, and in certain scenarios horrible Conspiracies to harm and engage in criminal wrongdoing.

In America, has your doctor recommended surgery?
Is it really indicated?

or

Has your doctor carried out surgery?
Was it really indicated?

Equally important:
Has your physician, related practitioners, including psychologists, social workers, managers, administrators, and politicians, practiced negligence, failure to diagnose, delays in diagnosis, failure to follow-up on tests (labs, radiology, etc.), failure to monitor, wrong diagnosis, and in certain scenarios horrible conspiracies to harm and engage in criminal wrongdoing?
Should medical fraternity take cognizance?
Should the public defender take action sua sponte?
What other options are available?

A question was once put to a psychiatrist at a Swedish covenant hospital.
What is normality?
This was followed by more important questions:
What are the issues?
What are the different solutions?
What is the best solution?
Who has the answer?
Who is willing to answer?
Who has the duty and responsibility to answer?

The psychiatrist couldn't answer.
The Swedish covenant hospital faculty is encouraged to answer these related questions.

Instead of pursuing a lawsuit for damages, ask:
How would you like to solve this problem?

The best approach is first to educate the concerned and related parties:
What are the elements of effective case management?
What is normality?
What are the issues?
What are the different solutions?
What is the best solution?
Who has the answer?
Who is willing to answer?
Who has the duty and responsibility to answer?

For example, among Muslims, alcohol is abnormal, smoking is unwelcome, and adultery is abnormal.

Among Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Jews, and Buddhists, family values, fidelity, and conjugal rights are very important.

Moreover, while coming to a diagnosis ranging from post traumatic stress disorder to depression or any form of permanent disability or reversible disability, make sure you rule out and eliminate all forms of stressors:

Psychological torture
Physical torture
Corruption in politics of regulations
Racism
Deprivations of rights under the color of law
Political abuse
Discrimination
Disruption
Exclusion

Once all these stressors are eliminated and symptoms persist, then post traumatic stress disorder, depression and related diagnosis can be acceptable as a diagnosis.
